Meja Williams 02 Boys Legacy Freedom Cup Finalists!
On a warm winter weekend in January the Meja Williams 02 Boys began with a team prayer and then proceeded to play their hearts out to make the finals of the Freedom Cup 2013 Soccer Tournament. During this weekend the boys managed to have two clean sheets and play as a unit. The Championship game was a rematch of the team they shutout in the pool play. The game was a nail-biter and finished regulation in a tie. The overtime match continued with great play from both teams but ended with the opposing team putting the ball in the back ...
Meja Romero 04B – Indoor Finalist!
One of the club’s newest teams, Meja Romero 04 Boys, continue to play quality soccer. In their first Academy League season, Fall 2012, they played in UAL and were undefeated. They had already easily won the summer indoor league at Blue Sky Euless and moved over to Blue Sky Allen this winter seeking more competition. They again went undefeated in the regular season and were beaten 3-2 in the final 2 seconds of the Championship game.
